As the
giant technology companies, Google with a variety of internet-based services,
which use hundreds of millions of people around the world, would need a strong
backbone.
The
backbone is a fast Internet connection and can in the count. To anticipate
the future development of the Internet, Google set up the infrastructure to
deliver the Internet at speeds up to 10 gigabits per second (Gbps).
The
velocity is equal to a thousand times the average speed of the population used
the Internet Amerka States (U.S.) are currently in the range 7 megabits per
second (Mbps).
CNet
reported, other than as a backbone connection, the technology developed by
Google to deliver the service software as a service (SaaS).
"Maybe
this new technology will be available in the next decade, but if it can be
realized in three years, why not?" said Patrick Pichette, Google's
Chief Financial Officer.
According
to Google, many users who require connections of 1 Gbps or even 100 Mbps
broadband, because new technologies are introduced increasingly require fast
connection such as streaming audio and video technology, cloud storage, video
call, software updates, as well as multi-player games .
Not to
mention the discourse organizing 4K quality video streaming technology that
requires a super fast Internet connection.
Google is
not the only one ynag company wants to build a high speed Internet. Last
year, a team from the UK claim to have found a way of transmitting data at
speeds of 10 Gbps through the light.
System
called "Li-Fi" utilizes LED lights to deliver 3.5 Gbps speed data.
